The Woodlands Outdoor Child Photographer | Ryelin
Oh my good gracious. This. Girl. Ryelin, this little princess absolutely stole my heart. Just look at that smiling face! From the first hello to the last goodbye, I was giggling right along with her the entire time. How I loved being her The Woodlands Outdoor Child Photographer!
With kiddos of this age, I really like to let them run the show. It was a little chilly that day, so I didn’t mind running around trying to keep up with little Ryelin. My goal as a photographer, is to capture the true personalities of my clients and document sweet memories that will last a lifetime. I truly think we accomplished this throughout this session in The Woodlands. I adored seeing her big smile and hear her sweet laughter fill the air as we explored together.
We took to Alden Bridge Park in The Woodlands that is nestled in the heart of The Woodlands. It’s right off of Kuykedahl and Alden Bridge Dr and offers a unique look to portraits. With wide fields, tall trees, and a few bridges, this is such a versatile location fit for any family or Child photography session.
Her mama was definitely the rockstar when it came to outfit options! How adorably dressed is this sweet girl?! I loved every single outfit option that she brought for the session. As a photographer, I have to keep in mind the end product at all times. For this reason, outfit changes are vital! They create variety to the session and allow me to develop an eclectic feel throughout the collection.
Make sure to scroll down to see every bit of sweetness from Ryelin’s session! I have gotten the pleasure of watching this sweet baby grow up for a couple years now, and you can view Ryelin’s springtime session here! Enjoy and I’d love to hear your thoughts! <3

The Woodlands Family Fun | The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
I have had so many fun times at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion over the years. From girl’s nights out, to Christmas concerts with my kiddos, there’s always some The Woodlands family fun going on in The Woodlands! So many beautiful memories have been made under that big white tent!
My husband is a HUGE James Bond fan, and they actually have an event coming up next week with the Houston Symphony playing all the theme songs from all the Bond movies over the years. How fun! One of my favorite Halloween traditions is taking my little ones to see the Houston Symphony play all the scary Halloween tunes. There’s always plenty of giggles and tons of candy. What more could a kid want, right?! Last year, I took my mom to the Christmas concert put on by Michael W Smith and Amy Grant. What an absolutely wonderful time we had! Funny story, one of my first dates in high school was to the The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion to see John Mayer. Oh memories… where in the world would we be without sweet images to take us back in time to wonderful evenings and happy days.
One of the best things about the The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is the affordability of their lawn seats. Bring a blanket, some snacks and lots of sunscreen! You’re sure to have an amazing time at any of the countless concerts from their 2017 lineup!
I absolutely love capturing the love and happiness that flows through so many families in The Woodlands, TX.

Family Photographer in The Woodlands | Great Spots in The Woodlands, TX
The Woodlands has an endless supply of entertainment, food and activities available for participants of any age! From a bustling nightlife at various bars and clubs, to kid-friendly splash parks and green spaces to run wild, Market Street in particular comes to mind when I think of fun times in The Woodlands. Though we are far from December, mark your calendars to make a trip to Market Street to get some great family photos in front of their towering Christmas Tree. As a Family Photographer in The Woodlands, I’m well aware of how truly adorable these holiday sessions turn out!
Admittedly, I probably frequent a few of my favorite shops here a little too often, but we all have our vices, right? I love spending a few precious moments sniffing all the wonderful smells from Lush Cosmetics, and rarely leave without a bath bomb…or five…Love them! As an avid gym-goer, I’ve learned to love Lulu Lemon over the years. I know, it’s pricey…but you can’t beat their quality or lifetime guarantee! If you love sushi as much as my hubby and I do, you have to stop by Uni Sushi! So yummy!!
Just a short 20 minute drive from Conroe, TX lies a retail-therapy block nestled in the heart of The Woodlands teeming with shops, food and entertainment. Whether you want to catch a movie and a burger, spend the afternoon splashing around in the 24/7 splash pad with your kiddos, or grab some cocktails with your gal-pals…Market Street has everything you need to have a wonderful time.
Make sure to keep on the lookout for more family friendly spots to take the whole gang in The Woodlands, TX!

The Woodlands Newborn Lifestyle Photographer | Fahrner Family
Little blessings! I think it is the simplicity of this photo shoot that will forever warm my heart. The setting was in the comfort of the new parent’s home, and it truly captured the reality of being a new loving parent, who just can’t help but stare in awe at their new little bundle of joy! After adding a little member to your family, your heart finally feels complete, and getting to witness these emotions was just enough to melt my heart! From experience, I know that you feel like you have the entire world in your hands when holding your baby, and you just never want to let go. So being able to do these Woodlands Newborn Lifestyle Photographer portrait sessions is really a dream come true.
The bond between them was undeniable, breathtaking, and just plain beautiful. As a mom and a The Woodlands Newborn Lifestyle Photographer, I know how crazy life can be in those first few weeks. For that reason, I love offering in-home newborn sessions. It truly is so easy on both mama and the baby this way, and I get to capture their comfy love <3
About this session
Marisa is a friend of my cousin, Alisa, so this photo shoot was close to my heart. She embraces the realities of being a new mommy, knowing that you have to do whatever it takes to make life easier on you, and I couldn’t agree more! The experience can be an emotional roller coaster, from tired days and long nights, to loving your baby so hard it hurts. Those first few months that you are a new parent can be overwhelming, but oh so rewarding at the same time. Thank you for blessing me with getting to be a part of the joy that filled this room!
Loved this sweet family. TONS. <3

The Woodlands Newborn Baby Portrait Photographer | Biggers Family Newborn Studio Session
As a photographer, and in any creative field for that matter, you naturally find yourself gravitating towards a specific style or category within your industry. Over the years, I have found myself coming back to these sweet babies time and time again. I just love everything about them. The smell of their skin, the feather-soft fuzz the adorns their sweet head…and don’t even get me started on their tiny toes!! I truly adore being a The Woodlands Newborn Baby Portrait Photographer!
This little guy was such a treat to work with. So sleepy and settled! Transitioning him from pose to pose was any newborn photographer’s dream. He loved being cuddled tight which made for some truly stunning shots. I like to incorporate organic elements into my sessions, especially with newborns. There’s something so fundamental and beautiful about a sweet, brand new baby, surrounded by fresh blooms and foliage. Love it!
I can already tell that this brother and sister are going to have an amazing relationship. The was she tenderly kissed his toes and caressed his sweet head reminded me so much of my own kiddos. I remember the way Caleb would tip-toe around Maddie as soon as we brought her home from the hospital, as if she was a porcelain doll. Now I can’t get them both to stop constantly bouncing off each other! As a mom of both a little boy and girl, I certainly know there will be hoops to jump through and some not so great trips to the grocery store in this sweet mama’s future, but the bond they are inevitably bound to share will be one that lasts a lifetime.
This family lives right on the edge of Conroe and Montgomery, a sweet spot quietly nestled on the back roads of FM 2854. We did their ordering appointment in their home, which is only about a 15-20 minute drive to all the family and fun things that The Woodlands has to offer. With shopping centers like Market Street (one of my favorite eatery’s is there – The Counter), and the fun things to do for the kiddos like the Children’s Museum off of West Panther Creek, you’re sure to have a wonderful time for everyone in the family. Lauren and her family are so blessed to be in the quiet woods in Conroe, but only be a 10 minute drive from all the fun things (mentioned above)!

Fine Art Photography in The Woodlands, TX | Stash Family Session
I love big families! So many sweet personalities to enjoy during this family session, from a beautiful blended family. This adorable family had such adventurous spirits and were up for anything (even the crazy fog that morning the night before Halloween)! With a family of seven (plus two adorable fur babies) life can, I’m sure, become hectic! But these beautiful people take it with ease and beauty. I’ve known these guys for about 6 years now and they just keep getting sweeter with age. Being able to document my friends-turned-family like this is one of the best parts of being a Fine Art Photography in The Woodlands, TX.
They chose to print one of their images on a canvas print, had it framed and hung it over the mantle- right where it belonged. Displaying artwork, filled with tangible memories in your home for all that love you to see is truly why I do this job. Tangible memories, literally at your fingertips, on heirloom products. It just is the best thing in the world.
Kristin and Johnny’s patient spirits and playful personalities are perfectly suited for parenthood (and for one another). Johnny is such a fun-loving and incredible human and I do believe he was lucky to snag Kristin. And vice versa. A match made in heaven, perhaps?
There’s not much I wouldn’t do to hear the sweet sound of Caleb or Maddie’s laughter filling the air! It’s so clear to me that this mama and sweet daddy’s heart, are overflowing with love and adoration for each child. It was so incredibly touching to see that each child had their own unique and personal relationship with their parents.
Although the day was foggy, that didn’t stop us from capturing some truly stunning shots. The misty air made for a perfect backdrop to get some wonderfully dreamy family and single shots. I’ll never forget this perfect morning spent in the company of an even more perfect family <3
Thank you so much, Kristin, Johnny and kids for allowing me the immense pleasure of capturing your Fine Art Photography in The Woodlands, TX!
